I'd like to take a minute to thank B.A. Johnston for rekindling my love for the movie Caddyshack. And also for making songs about pirates, pita pit girls, chipmunks...I mean squirrels, and deep fried food. Make sure you check him out on the 28 @ Baba's. I shall be in attendance in full swing and garb...perhaps in my three piece.

Shoreline just made my summer...it was "kick ass Seabass" good! On friday I showed up around 3:30 and set up next to Amber, Thomas, Owen and Blake. By 4:30 I was well on my way to being trashed. Which turned out to be a reoccuring theme, being intoxicated by midafternoon that is. The only thing I recall from that afternoon is sprawling on my chair/cooler and/or rolling around on the ground in a laughing fit over Blake and his Plums. That night I caught The Bus as well as one hell of a show by Metric. Emily Haines you are my dream woman....right after Cynthia from Golden Girls.

On Saturday Owen and Blake's friend Kristen showed up for some shoreline action...and the Black Lung. We ventured to the beach and swam the never ending sandbar, all the while eyeing the skinny dippers. When we got back we caught some of Iron Giants act. Which if you've ever seen them before is basically a bunch of angry looking dudes drunk as fuck on stage. They sucked hard, but were hilarious at the same time. We also took in some Universal Soul and Slowcoaster Mayham from the Hill. Slowcoaster was killer good as always, and even encouraged me to buy stock in Kellogs and Post cereal. That night we watched Buck 65, who has some fucked up songs about flaming skeletons on motorcycles and shit. The whole time I felt like I was watching a televised religon show or something. Almost to the point were I thought they were gonna start handing out the kool-aid, ya know? We also watched the end of the Benevento and Ruso Duo, which blew me fucking away.

Sunday I just kinda layed outside on my sleeping bag working on my drool spot. I went home for a much needed shower and pizza before heading back up for Joel Plaskett's set. He ended up being late, so instead of a 2 hour set, it was only 45 mins. But he was wicked anywho.

To get me pumped for shoreline I stayed up till 3 in the morning on Thursday making a Shoreline cd, only I couldn't squeeze it onto only one disc. Below is the track listing and a List of all the funny quotes from the weekend that I remember. And I'll have some pics posted HERE ENJOY...
