SOMETIMES I QUESTION YOUR COMMITTMENT TO SPARKLE MOTION

::movie:: American Psycho ~ uncut version
::music:: THE HAND THAT FEEDS ~ NINE INCH NAILS

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been busy in the studio producing Fred Penner's latest cd, cleverly entitled "Holla back if you've seen my bling." Its a bit of a departure from his earlier work, but I have complete confidence in his abilities as a Pimp Daddy. Look for it in stores this fall.

I finally remembered to watch Family Guy this week...I've missed the past month cause I'm retarded and can't tell time. The episode was A-one. Any episode featuring the creepy old dude is gonna be worthwhile, not to mention the kickass He-man reference.

I picked up American Psycho the other day. This movies got something for everyone. For the ladies you got Christian Bale runnin' around in the nude with a conviently placed chainsaw, and for the guys you got a role model who impales naked hookers with a chainsaw from 5 stories up. Whats not to like? I also went to see Batman Begins last week. Wicked F'n movie. I heard that Tim Burton has been cring himself to sleep each night upon seeing this movie.

On Saturday murph and I watched yet another Bale flick, THE MACHINIST. Bale dropped to a record 121 pounds for this role, it was sick but if you liked Memento and Fight Club I suggest you check this out.

I also went to see CINDERELLA MAN last week. I wasn't sure what to expect from it but I ended up really enjoying it...except for Renee Zellwegger. She enfuriates me, the woman can't act for shit. She keeps on playing the same person, only with a slightly different accent. FAACk!

NEW MATERIAL BUYS:
SNL 25 Years of Music
Arrested Development season 1
Donnie Darko Directors Cut

* The SNL dVd set is a collection of musical guests/ acts in the past, thats right you guessed it! 25 years. Its got some great shit like Nirvana, Blind Melon, and Simon and Garfunkel. As well as the infamous Pope ripping demonstration by Sinead O'Connor. It was originally like 70 bucks but I managed to pick it up for 25 at F-shop.

* Arrested Development is probably the funniest show on television thats still a secret. Check it out.

*The Donnie Darko DC was something I've been wanting to see since last summer. I enjoyed some of the new scenes but I was a little miffed about the change in songs and special effects. But the commentary featuring director Richard Kelly and Kevin Smith made it a worthwhile buy.

I've decided that I would have been happiest if I had been born in 1950. Just think of the wicked timing you would have had being a 50's baby. You would grow up with the King. Survive your teens with the Beatles. And at 19 you could have headed down to Woodstock. I imagine that if I had gone to Woodstock I might never have returned. I'd probably just travel around with the bands eventually becoming a roadie for The Doors or Zeppelin, maybe even ending up marrying Stevie Nicks...you know before she became a witch.

Anyway, tune in next week same bat time same bat channel...I think the dynamic duo is facing off against King Tut or Vincent Price....Either way I'm out like David Spade.
