MOONLIGHT DRIVES AND MIDNIGHT LIES

I'M COMFORTABLE BEING UNIMPRESSIVE...I SLEEP BETTER.

::movie:: FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF
::music:: ROTTEN APPLE - Alice in Chains

Does anyone remember the WIZARD OF OZ cartoon? I think it may have been based on the sequel, RETURN TO OZ which was, from what I remember, a movie that scared the shit out of me as a child. It and LABRYNTH. I always got the two confused. The scary part about Labrynth was watching David Bowie dreaming about dancing with that chick. Theres nothing more frightening than watching an aging rocker fantasize over a teenage girl.

Last week was pretty entertaining. Murph and I split a quart of Jack Daniels and decided to go to Morons with Nick and Nancy. We missed the beginning of trivia so Nick and I did our infamous 10 flight run at the Delta. After the Delta, we all headed back to Morons where the rest of the night consisted of Murph asking random girls if they'd perform "favours" for ME. Although I appreciated the gesture I felt it best that we left Myrons...quickly. Stick, Rob, Murph, and I went next door to Jacks for some Zza. Murph decided that he'd rather get into a fight than eat pizza. Stephanie threw a plate at Murph; Murph threw the plate on the floor in the general direction of one of the workers, resulting in the following dialogue:

Pizza Dude: Sir would you please refrain from throwing things. Thank you for you time, and enjoy your evening.
Murph, aka the Hulk: FUCK YOU! AND FUCK YOUR WIFE YOU STUPID FUCKING WASTE OF SPERM.
Pizza Dude: Maybe you should go outside sir, you are disrupting the customers.
Raging Murphy (SLURRING HIS WORDS, AND TRAILING OFF): YES, LETS GO OUTSIDE! WE'LL SETTLE THIS AND COOL OFF.
ME: Alright, we're leaving. Nobody's fighting, lets go.

*dialogue may have been altered for captivating purposes. Pizza Dude may not have been as polite as suggested.*

The rest of the weekend consisted of watching Murph's Season 1 of Smallville. Somehow I managed to find the time to watch 21 hours of Smallville...Zany. I'm currently working on Season 2.

I also went hardcore into making some 80's mixes. I ended up making 3 cds, 60 some songs in total. I now have 5 80's mixes. I was hoping to get the theme song for My Secret Identity, but I couldn't find it anywhere. But I did manage to get Don't Fear The Reaper by BLUE OYSTER CULT..."I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cow bell." I'll post the complete list of songs below. Unfortunetly some songs were cut including such 80's staples as She Blinded Me with Science and Electric Avenue. A few non-80's songs may have creeped on there as well, due to the fact I wasn't sure if they were late 70's or early 80's. Then there are songs like Nothing Compares 2 You, by Sinaed O'Conner that are actually early 90's but remind me of the eighties, so they had to be included.

Murph and I went to the movies on wednesday and saw The Exocist: The Begining which i didn't actually mind all that much. It had the same feel as the first one. It did have some retarded dialogue coming on the end, but its all good.

I've gone on another buying binge.
Alice in Chains - Jar of Flies
Men At Work - Super Hits
Exorcist 3 pack. (all of the original 3 movies)
64MB Flash Drive
